Hey everyone,

I decided to turn this into a separate blog post for reference, rather than bundling it into my now-cancelled cherry blossom mini sessions. Short version: for the foreseeable future, I will not be providing in-person photography services.

This is a slight edit on what I wrote to clients a little over a week ago:

I hope you and yours are healthy and safe. The coronavirus news and impacts are changing by the hour, and with each one, I think the collective anxiety goes up a little. I love the cherry blossoms, and I love capturing families with my camera at the Tidal Basin. So as much as it pains me, I am cancelling the mini sessions we had scheduled for March 29, and any other sessions for the time being. I apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause. I feel it is the responsible thing to do at this point in time.
I will be working on refunds for each of you who booked a mini this week. I’m truly sorry that it’s come to this, and I hope you understand. Thanks for being patient with me as I wrestled with this. I hope to reschedule mini sessions later in the year, and look doubly forward to cherry blossom sessions next year. If you’re interested in family photos down the road, please reach out anytime.

I hope to see you all healthy and happy in the near future. If you have any questions or want to talk, I’m here.

Stay safe, stay well, stay six feet apart. We'll get through this together.
